Holidays are flying by...

Hey people. Got back from Penang trip on Sunday night, and finally decided to catch up on my uploading. Downloaded a facebook photo uploader so its much more convienient than the online one. GO check out my new LitRA and OIP pics okay? And help me tag cuz I'm too lazy to tag like 200+ photos. And Penang trip was fun :D had lots of crazy and awesome times with my cousins. Hopefully this can be a routine annual thing??? Go check out the pics!

Sigh...After OIP, after Penang trip, we're in the middle of the hols without even realising it. And next week I'm flying off to glorious UK!!! till the end of the year. This holiday has been packed with trips, but I really don't mind that much, cuz I'd rather get out of the house more often. My only regret is not being able to going out my friends more T.T but I'm going to treasure every moment with them when I get back to my last year in RI. Thank God for this wonderful holiday.

India OIP was DA BOMB.

Hey people. Came back from my Delhi OIP trip yesterday morning, and boy, was it amazing.

Let's just say it was an eye-opening experience. I confirmed some stereotypes, but also lost several others. And ultimately, it was an awesome bonding time with our groupmates. I made friends with everyone in the group, but a special shoutout goes to gerard, fu kai, marcus, beck and kevin for being crazy and making me laugh every minute you're around. Keep in touch yeah? And to all the new friends I made in DPSG, you guys rock! Hope to see y'all next year and have another great time ;)

I bought F.E.A.R. in Delhi. Yes, don't gimme that look, I know its late, but it was cheap.

Supper Club!!! Halloween Party!!! and results...

Hey people. Got most of my results back liao. Most of them were okay lar. Except maths and chinese. I have to stop screwing around next year. Will probably post all the results once I get my APR.

Anyways, on to happier stuff. Friday night, I have to quote myself. "Pa, wake me up at 10.30pm". Because I was going for the awesome Supper Club at the NLB :D It was from 11.30pm to 6.30am the next day. Thankfully, I had brought along a bottle of mocha to drink to keep awake. The others weren't so forutnate though, by 6am most of them were falling asleep, even Ms Kuo! The programme consisted of:

1: Free supper buffet for the participants. Hey, the name isn't for show ya know.
2: Opening address by Kirpal Singh. Cool old poet, albeit kinda meandering in his speeches.
3: Since it was drizzling, we decided to do the indoor activities first. Started with some really freaky "unknowns" showcase of horror stories. Especially since it was Halloween. The most memorable quote was "THE WOMAN BEHIND YOU HAS NO HEAD." I'd love to see how many people turned around when they read that one. But Ms Kuo said it was quite irrelevant to the Symposium, and I concur heartily.
4: Walking around Bras Basah with some wierd guy who was dressed in a RI uniform and visiting various heritage sites like the old RI campus and the old NLB site. From there we took a walk called "Night Returns" with some whiny bitch. We were supposed to wear earphones and listen to soundtracks while walking back to NLB, and stop at certain points along the way to write down our feelings and thoughts in a poem. Quite cool.
5: Back at the NLB we were put through some random but interesting theatre exercise about visualising our journey. Totally random.
6:Finally, we trooped over to some ulu theatre to watch three presentations on Tamil, Malay and Chinese theatre development in Singapore respectively. SOOOOO BOOOOORRRIINNGGGGG. This was the part where everyone fell asleep. I had fun whacking people with my fan to wake them up ;p

Then I left at 7am to walk back to NLB where Pa was waiting for me. Quite a unique and interesting experience. Hopefully we can do it again next year!

And on Saturday afternoon, we went for bum's Halloween party! I went as some emo Joker thing? and my bro went as a pirate. There were some older friends of abraham's and bum's there, but by the end of the night we weren't that shy already. We played some game of drinking, but we didn't have enough alcohol, so we ended up talking lots of crap and laughing, which was actually the fun part of the night. Great night and fun, thanks to all the people who made it awesome!

Yes people, you heard me! The EOYs ended with Lit today!!! Although I think I screwed up the essay question(was seriously tough okay...) I'm commiting all my papers to God. Now for slacking till my brain rots!!! Well, not literally, but you get the drift.

To celebrate, me and a few of ge's classmates went out for a movie at Lido. We watched Julie & Julia. It's not that bad a movie, some really touching moments and funny scenes, but the ending was a little unsolved, and the conflicts were resolved too easily. Still, overall not a bad movie for the average moviegoer like me.

Okay, I'm going to spam games and com now. Hallejujah!

EOYs are here!

Hey people! The EOYs are here >.< started today with English and Chinese Paper 1. English was no kick as usual, but Chinese...hoo boy. I think I might fail letter writing. Just leave it to God now. Besides, I don't need to mug for SS, I'll just substitute my Lit score in.

Okay, probably won't post till after the EOYs...so, to leave ya, here's a line-up!

1: English + Chinese Paper 1(done)
2: SS(don't need to study)
3: Chem(easy lar)
4: Maths 1 and 2(um...revise can liao)
5: Physics(shit. need to mug like crap)
6: Bio(a little tougher than Chem, but still okay)

Hey people. Sorry for not posting this past week, my com crashed and I had to get it repaired T.T But I got it back and I'm thankful it runs so much faster now. So here's an apology for the long absence ><

Anyway, time travel back a little to...1 Oct!!! The day I got brand new eyes!!!
OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG(goes on for about 240 characters). Ahem. Anyway, you can tell I was really hyped up about it. HOWEVER, thanks to my com which was stowed safely away in the repair shop, I had to put the songs in from my bro's com. Can you imagine the pain and hassle of sharing someone else's computer for any period of time?!?! The agony, I tell you.

Anyway, like my last post, if you haven't gotten the album, go get it. SERIOUSLY. Their new sound is AWESOME. A little different from Riot, not so angsty anymore, but still retain that attitude we've come to know and love from Paramore.

Not to mention, the EOYs are coming up...in two days, actually. This year I've been begging for them to end, cuz I have been working my butt out for the past few weeks, almost a month actually. So here's to a good End Of Year! After that will be really fun! With class laser tag, OIP, two fmaily holidays...what's not to look forward to?

BRAND NEW EYES.

Hey people. Short post about...what else? Paramore's new album of course!!!

Okay so me munglin and bk went out yesterday to go find the album. But when we went to Gramophone we didn't see it. So we were like, "Oh, okay, HMV will have it." But when we got there, there was gloriously, NO BRAND NEW EYES IN SIGHT. So we didthered aimlessly for awhile in shock before I went up to the counter to ask whether they had it or not. And the cashier said that the stock was delayed. WTF?!?! But anyway, we went out defeated and consoled one another to wait a little bit longer, and emoed the rest of the day. But guess what...

IT'S OUT.

YES, TODAY.

Go grab you wallets, put on your running shoes and a pair of punching gloves, cuz you'll need to shove some people out of the way to get your copy of BRAND NEW EYES. Seriously, I wish I could drive there and get it now, but I need a license.
